About the author: Dr. George Viney is a psychotherapist, poet, magician, storyteller, writer, and author. He has a Doctorate as well as a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Originally a graduate of Northwestern University in Communications and Theater, through his varied interests and activities, and primarily through his continued devotion to the art of psychotherapy, he has found that his essential calling is to care for the psyche and reverently attend to her logos, or speech. In other words, his work is to care for the soul in himself, others, and the world.
